∇ Rules for Friending... ∇
• We're on a first name basis. - This might sound strange to include, but I really don't want people befriending my journal if we haven't spoken and exchanged names. Typically this means we're not actually friends, which defeats the entire purpose of adding my journal to your flist. Also, nicknames are completely okay by me; this is the internet, after all.

• You must be honest with me. - I do NOT like liars. I won't tolerate people that lie to me in any way, shape, or form. I will not lie to you, so don't lie to me.

• We have something in common. - This one sort of speaks for itself, I like to think. Why are you adding me to your journal as a friend if we have absolutely nothing in common with each other?

• You resolve to make comments to my entries. - Let me elaborate, because I don't want to sound like a complete attention whore. You don't have to comment to ALL of my entries, but make an honest effort, you know? After all, if I add you to my friend list, I'll definitely be making an effort to read and comment to your entries. Share the love.

• Respect that my journal is Friends Only. - Why, you ask? Because I like maintaining a semblance of privacy in my life, and I like being able to offer my friends a safer and more secure means of conversing with me through my journal.
